Urban gas is one of the pillar industries of Qianneng Group. Since 2003, supported by the No. 1 Line and No. 2 Line of the West-East natural gas transmission, the Shaanxi-Beijing No. 1 Line and No. 2 Line, the Burma - China natural gas pipeline, and the Russia-China natural gas pipeline, Qianneng Group, through investment, bidding and purchase, has established several professional urban pipeline gas enterprises with 30 years’ franchise right and the qualification of the gas industry in Chongqing, Hebei, Henan, Shandong and other cities and provinces. Presently our Group has eight gas companies under our administration. Our gas market covers a population of 8 million and our gas users involve more than 800,000 households (including residents, public service, heating, refrigeration, CNG vehicle, and small industrial users with gas supplied via urban pipe network). Up to now, our annual sales volume of gas amounts to 1 billion m3.
